Delavan, Illinois, is a community, population 1,689, located in southern Tazewell County in the heart of the great Illinois prairie. Established in 1837, the residents of this community enjoy the amenities of rural living but in close proximity to the bigger city life. Just five miles from I-155, Delavan is less than 60 miles driving distance to the larger central Illinois cities of Peoria, Bloomington and Springfield.
The small town charm makes this an excellent place to enjoy the better things in life, and to provide a safe environment to raise a family.
